LIVIA FLORENCE / SKIN & AESTHETICS
TERMS, BOOKINGS & TREATMENT
Good treatment decisions begin with clear expectations. These terms explain how consultations, appointments, payments and treatment decisions at Livia Florence work — and what you can expect from us along the way.
OUR APPROACH
Your appointment is part of your care.
Livia Florence is built around considered, individual treatment rather than treating from a menu. Recommendations are made after understanding your skin, your goals and anything relevant to treatment suitability and safety. Booking a consultation does not create an obligation to have treatment, and attending a consultation does not guarantee that a particular treatment will be recommended or provided.
It starts with a conversation.
Consultation is an important part of the Livia Florence process. You do not need to know which treatment you want before booking. A consultation may include discussion of your concerns, goals, relevant medical history, previous treatments, treatment options, realistic outcomes, potential risks, aftercare and whether treatment is appropriate. Depending on what is discussed, Livia Florence may recommend a particular treatment or plan; a different approach from the one originally considered; waiting before treatment; seeking advice from another appropriately qualified professional; or no treatment at all. This is part of making considered decisions with you, not for you.
Fully redeemable against treatment.
Livia Florence consultations are paid. Where a client proceeds with an eligible treatment, the consultation fee is fully redeemable against treatment in accordance with the applicable booking terms.

YOUR SAFETY
Sometimes the right treatment decision is not to treat.
Treatment is always subject to appropriate consultation and suitability assessment. Livia Florence may decline, postpone, alter or discontinue a proposed treatment where there is a safety, suitability, consent or professional reason to do so. Where appropriate, you may be advised to seek medical advice or another appropriately qualified professional before proceeding.
Tell us if something changes.
Please provide accurate and relevant information during your consultation, and update Livia Florence if something changes before treatment. This can include health or medical circumstances, medication, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding where relevant, recent procedures or treatments, skin changes or reactions, and any other information relevant to treatment safety. Questions will always be proportionate to the treatment being considered. Personal and health information is handled with care; see Privacy & Data Protection for more information.
Consent is a conversation, not a signature.
Appropriate consent will be obtained before treatment. You should have an opportunity to understand the proposed treatment, expected benefits, material risks, alternatives where relevant and aftercare. Consent can be withdrawn before treatment. Signing a form does not remove your legal rights.
Real skin doesn’t make guarantees.
Individual responses to skin and aesthetic treatments vary, and no specific result can be guaranteed. Recommendations should be based on realistic expectations and your individual circumstances. Some treatments may involve a course or ongoing maintenance, while others may provide a more immediate visible refresh. Livia Florence’s approach is always to support skin health, confidence, individuality and considered visible results — never a one-size-fits-all outcome.
Care doesn’t stop when the appointment ends.
Treatment-specific aftercare information will be provided where appropriate. Please follow the advice provided and contact Livia Florence if you have questions or concerns following treatment.
[TREATMENT-SPECIFIC AFTERCARE AND URGENT CONTACT PROCEDURES TO BE COMPLETED BEFORE EACH TREATMENT IS LAUNCHED]
If something doesn’t feel right, tell us.
Appropriate post-treatment contact and complications procedures will be established for every treatment offered. You will be told how to contact Livia Florence following treatment and what to do if urgent assessment is required.
[COMPLICATIONS AND EMERGENCY ESCALATION PROCEDURE TO BE CONFIRMED BEFORE TREATMENT LAUNCH]
Treatment should always be appropriate for the individual.
Age requirements may differ depending on the treatment, applicable law, professional standards, insurance requirements and clinical appropriateness. Where clinically and legally appropriate in future, Livia Florence may be able to support younger clients with concerns such as acne; this does not mean that all aesthetic treatments are available to younger people.
[FINAL AGE, PARENTAL CONSENT AND SAFEGUARDING POLICY TO BE CONFIRMED BEFORE LAUNCH]
Clinical records and marketing are not the same thing.
Photographs may be taken where appropriate as part of clinical documentation. Any separate identifiable use for marketing, the website, social media, Skin Stories or promotional purposes will require appropriate permission. Choosing not to consent to marketing use will not prevent someone receiving otherwise appropriate treatment. See Privacy & Data Protection for more information.
When things don’t go to plan.
Refund rights and policies may depend on the circumstances, service purchased and applicable consumer law. Livia Florence will make the relevant arrangements clear as its services and booking systems are finalised.
[FINAL REFUND AND PAYMENT DISPUTE POLICY TO BE CONFIRMED BEFORE LAUNCH]
If you’re unhappy, we want to know.
You should feel able to raise concerns about your experience with Livia Florence. Concerns will be taken seriously and handled fairly and appropriately.
[FORMAL COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE AND RESPONSE TIMESCALE TO BE CONFIRMED BEFORE LAUNCH]
CARE & RESPONSIBILITY
Treatment only belongs where it can be provided responsibly.
Livia Florence intends to offer only treatments for which the practitioner has the appropriate training and where suitable insurance, premises, procedures, consent documentation, aftercare and complication-management arrangements are in place. We will not present a treatment as available before those arrangements are complete.
